Starting from <strong>2024</strong>, JESSCOM will publish <strong>two times</strong> a year (June and December). All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of <strong>two reviewers</strong> through the <strong>double-blind review </strong>process. Located on Jalan Raya Juanda, Sedati, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, the Juanda Smart House was inaugurated by Mrs. Ani Bambang Yudhoyono on December 22, 2009. Initially, Rumah Pintar Juanda was a former museum for aircraft belonging to the Navy that were no longer in use. However, along with the public's interest in knowledge about entertainment and tourism, Rumah Pintar Juanda has been developed into an educational tourist spot that offers various facilities and activities. In this research, we will analyze how public relations plays a role in developing entertainment and tourism at Rumah Pintar Cendikia Juanda. We use as the basis of the analysis, which emphasizes the importance of effective communication between organizations and society. The results showed that public relations plays an important role in increasing public awareness of entertainment and tourism at Rumah Pintar Cendikia Juanda. The public relations strategies used include effective communication, socialization, and promotion. The primary aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive explanation of the various speech acts employed during the engagement ceremonies, utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection process entails recording and observing the speeches delivered by the participants throughout the engagement procession. Descriptive notes are meticulously taken to document all the speeches, while reflective notes are utilized to offer insightful interpretations of the conversations, based on Searle's speech act theory. The study endeavors to make a significant contribution to the existing knowledge on speech acts and their application in the context of engagement processions in Wanar village, Pucuk, Lamongan. The practice remains salient in computer-mediated communication nowadays. The companies usually deliver the message through, among others, their owned media. This study analyzes how Indonesia-based marketplace companies communicate their image through image/lobbying blog published on their owned media. The research design was content analysis. Applying purposive sampling, 48 articles in English were analyzed by using a codebook adapted from McLaren and Gurău (2005) and Catenaccion (2008). Both companies employed similar step in move announcement. Both companies had a tendency to announce results. However, they had different follow-up strategy especially for move elaboration and comment. One important aspect of pragmatics is deixis, which refers to the use of words or phrases that rely on situational context to determine their meaning. In this poem, Kahlil Gibran employs various forms of deixis to convey a message about love that is complex and meaningful. The data used is the text of the poem "Aku Bicara Perihal Cinta" by Kahlil Gibran, analyzed to identify the use of different types of deixis, namely person deixis, time deixis, place deixis, social deixis, and discourse deixis. The analysis was conducted by categorizing each use of deixis in the text and linking it to relevant social and cultural contexts. Based on the analysis, various uses of deixis were found to reinforce the message about love in this poem. Person deixis is evident in the use of the words "aku" (I) and "engkau" (you), referring to the two individuals involved in a love relationship. Time deixis appears through time references that describe the journey of love that unfolds over an unlimited period. Place deixis is also used to depict the space and atmosphere surrounding the love relationship. Social deixis reflects the depiction of roles and positions of individuals in the love relationship, where love is not only a feeling but also a profound social process.
